Description

You will own the development of scalable Java applications using object-oriented principles and modern architectural patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, and reusable Java libraries and code.
• Design and implement database schemas that support core business processes.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Develop web services using RESTful patterns, JDBC, and MVC architecture.
• Manage code versioning and continuous integration workflows.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of OOP patterns, concurrency, and class loading mechanisms.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Play, Spark, Struts, or Spring.
• Proficiency in Java GUI frameworks including Swing, SWT, or AWT.
• Knowledge of build tools like Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with Git for version control and continuous integration practices.
• Understanding of JVM internals, including common drawbacks and workarounds.
• Ability to work with external and embedded databases.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
