Description

You will develop, refactor, and enhance microservices using Java or Python on AWS, focusing on clean design and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modernize legacy credit and liquidity risk applications into cloud-native architectures on AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated deployments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, deploy services, and monitor performance to ensure operational reliability.
• Deliver risk metrics, analytics, and tooling for senior management and regulators.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing software using Java or Python.
• Experience designing and testing enterprise-level applications with RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience building or migrating applications to AWS, including microservices, serverless, or containerized components.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud deployment best practices.
• Experience with public cloud environments (AWS Certified Developer or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or Communication.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Financial Services or Risk (credit, liquidity, market), data workflows, or analytics.
