Description

You will develop bond position management and risk models while integrating them with broader calculation and workflow automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain real-time systems using Scala, Java, Kafka, and ZooKeeper.
• Develop calculation infrastructure including distribution, caching, and workflow automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform system profiling and performance tuning.
• Navigate and contribute to a large, complex codebase.
• Collaborate with global teams and interact with the desk to support financial functions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala or exceptional Java skills.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed computing.
• Deep understanding of data structures and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and ZooKeeper.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and profiling.
• Experience with continuous integration workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Financial services knowledge, specifically regarding bonds.
