Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of RESTful services and microservices.
• Write clean, testable code following TDD principles and customer quality standards.
• Manage deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Collaborate with international clients in an Agile Scrum environment to meet project deadlines.
• Take full ownership of development work from design to implementation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall software development experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of databases including DynamoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI 3 and Postman for API design.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating code from Java to Node.js.
• Experience developing secure, decoupled, and resilient microservices.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, Sequelize, and Datadog.
