Description

You will develop and maintain scalable back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript. You own the full development lifecycle of RESTful services and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code using TDD principles and frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Design and implement secure, decoupled, and resilient architectures.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components including AWS Lambda and S3.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum workflows to meet client requirements and deadlines.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall software development experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Experience with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL via DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in API design using Swagger/OpenAPI 3 and testing with Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, and GitLab-CI.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with build tools like NPM and Grunt.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating codebases from Java to Node.js.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, Sequelize, Datadog, and Helmet.js.
