Description

You will build and maintain scalable back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript, owning the full lifecycle of RESTful APIs and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, decoupled, and resilient microservices architectures.
• Write clean, testable code following TDD principles using Jest and Cypress.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components including AWS Lambda and S3.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum workflows to deliver client requirements on schedule.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall software development experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in API design using Swagger/OpenAPI 3 and testing with Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, and GitLab-CI.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating codebases from Java to Node.js.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, Sequelize, Datadog, and Helmet.js.
