Description

Maintain and enhance terminal management applications for shipping container logistics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Fix existing software defects and implement code enhancements.
• Read, understand, and maintain existing codebase functionality.
• Write and deploy serverless code using AWS Lambda.
• Manage full life cycle development tasks.
• Document technical processes for training purposes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless architecture, including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Cognito.
• Experience with Java, JSP, HTML, and XML.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, Maven, and Nexus.
• Competency with Groovy, EDI, and relational databases.
• Experience using Kibana, CloudWatch, EC2, and Linux.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and Java EE frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CVS or similar version control tools.
• Exposure to RUP, UML, or similar development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Optical Character Recognition software.
