Description

Design and maintain Java-based software applications across the full development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code for Java applications.
• Debug technical problems, identify bottlenecks, and devise solutions.
• Produce detailed design documentation and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Develop 3-tier architectures ensuring separation of database, business, and client logic.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java and SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE platforms and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Web Service development using SOAP and REST.
• Strong database development skills using SQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server, including complex T-SQL.
• Experience with WebLogic Application containers.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented analysis, design patterns, and Java concurrency patterns.
• Experience with test-driven development and agile development using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and versioning with Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web frameworks such as JSF, GWT, or Spring MVC.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
