Description

Lead a 24/7 engineering organization focused on driving software engineering standard processes into operational spaces through automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT staff, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Drive automation and software engineering standards across all operational spaces.
• Manage customer-facing systems in a high-uptime, 24/7 environment.
• Analyze complex application, database, network, and OS issues across large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Platform, and Infrastructure teams to deliver results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce business systems, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Transportation.
• 5+ years of experience working with Scrum Agile methodology.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt.
• Proven track record of building and running high-performance teams.
• Expertise in analyzing issues across distributed, large-scale customer-facing systems.
• Ability to write clear, consumable technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of development methodologies and DevOps culture.

• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management.
• Experience working within a team-centered environment.
