Description

You will build user-facing features and scalable applications using Vue.js and Java, modernizing legacy products and converting corporate website sections into an in-house CMS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive interfaces and reusable components using Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and HTML5/CSS3.
• Support the existing CMS and backend logic with Java (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Write maintainable, testable code following SOLID principles and contribute to code reviews.
• Collaborate with UX designers and write clear user stories and documentation in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Vue.js and JavaScript (ES6).
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with SQL databases including DB2 and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of AWS CloudFront and Azure cloud services.
• Experience with test automation and web analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for Agile tooling.
