Description

Senior Java Developer responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from design to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of new and existing web-based applications.
• Troubleshoot design flaws and resolve system bottlenecks through performance tuning.
• Lead junior developers, manage project deadlines, and assign team responsibilities.
• Identify technical risks and develop contingency plans for project work.
• Manage requirement gathering and change management processes with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of full stack development experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing in Core Java.
• 5+ years of experience working with and configuring WebLogic Applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with TomEE.
• 3+ years of experience in web programming and building web-based applications.
• 3+ years of experience in performance tuning existing systems.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and NJAC regulations.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience converting WebLogic Applications to TomEE.
• Experience integrating Microservices (RESTful APIs) with Angular 2.0 or above.
• 2+ years of experience working with GIT.
