Description

You will administer, deploy, and support middleware environments including Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic on Linux platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and maintain Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic servers.
• Monitor system logs and troubleshoot middleware issues to ensure uptime.
• Plan and apply maintenance fixes, patches, and upgrades to middleware components.
• Provide 24/7 on-call and after-hours support, including weekend release implementation.
• Coordinate with vendors and technical teams to resolve complex incidents and identify root causes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and Oracle WebLogic.
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration and middleware support.
• Experience with deployment strategies and configuration for web and application servers.
• Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues under pressure.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotations and weekend releases.
• Knowledge of Apache web server configuration and integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with vendors for middleware support and issue resolution.
