Mid-level engineer developing software for the C2BMC JEMINI program, based onsite in Colorado Springs.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications primarily using Java.
• Identify root causes of performance issues and implement technical solutions.
• Apply software practices and coding standards to all development tasks.
• Perform software integration testing and develop automated test scripts.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java development.
• Experience working on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and performance review.
• Experience with Software Integration and testing.
• Ability to write and execute test scripts.
• Knowledge of STIG requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with command and control system application development.
• Experience with message translation software or microservices and container deployment.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework or Fortify mitigation.
