Own the Jira Cloud platform, designing workflows and automations that streamline intake, triage, and delivery for multi-team environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and govern Jira Cloud projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions to ensure scalability and alignment with enterprise operating models.
• Design end-to-end workflows and build advanced automations to reduce manual intervention and improve cycle time.
• Develop scripts using ScriptRunner (Groovy) and Python, and maintain REST API integrations with GitHub, ServiceNow, Jama, and CRM systems.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows, including intelligent triage assignment, automated work classification, and context-aware recommendations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with deep expertise in Jira Cloud.
• Strong scripting experience in Groovy (ScriptRunner) and Python.
• Proficiency in Jira Automation and REST API integrations.
• Experience managing multi-team and multi-org Jira environments.
• Knowledge of toolchain integrations, including GitHub, CI/CD systems, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing AI-driven workflow automation and agentic AI concepts.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and autonomous agent orchestration.
• Exposure to large-scale software delivery environments (Agile/SAFe) and enterprise data taxonomy design.
