Description

You will manage and optimize Jira instances to support enterprise-level workflows and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, issue types, and custom fields.
  • Develop custom automation rules and scripts using JQL and Groovy to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, ServiceNow, and other third-party tools.
  • Manage user roles, groups, and access permissions to ensure security and compliance.
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and filters to track project metrics and KPIs.
  • Plan and implement upgrades, plugins, and security patches while monitoring system performance.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Jira administration within an enterprise environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Jira Core, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.
  • Proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced searching and reporting.
  • Experience with Jira automation, Groovy scripting, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of database management using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
