Description

You will administer Jira Server, Data Center, and Cloud environments, ensuring stable configuration and governance. You will migrate legacy ScriptRunner (Groovy) scripts to Cloud-compatible solutions using Automation Rules, REST APIs, or Forge apps. You will manage end-to-end Atlassian Cloud administration, including Jira Service Management and Confluence migrations. You will handle complex migrations using JCMA, email-to-ticket solutions like JEMH, and identity management integrations. You will redesign Java-based Data Center plugins into Forge-based Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure and govern Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions across Server, Data Center, and Cloud.
• Migrate and convert ScriptRunner (Groovy) scripts to Automation Rules, REST APIs, or Forge apps.
• Manage JEMH email-to-ticket configurations and migrate behaviors to Cloud platforms.
• Execute end-to-end Atlassian Cloud migrations using JCMA, including JSM and Confluence.
• Redesign in-house Java plugins from Data Center to Forge-based Cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Jira administration across Server, Data Center, and Cloud.
• Deep expertise in Jira configuration, governance models, and permission schemes.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy for ScriptRunner and REST APIs.
• Experience migrating configurations using Atlassian migration tools (JCMA).
• Knowledge of Atlassian Access, SSO implementations, and identity management.
• Ability to redesign Java-based Data Center plugins using Forge.
• Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with M&A integrations and multi-organization Jira instances.
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder management skills.
