Description

You will develop and deploy custom applications within the Jira Cloud Forge ecosystem, owning the full lifecycle from design to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Forge applications including global pages, workflow validators, custom fields, panels, and UI modifications.
• Design and implement custom business logic, validation rules, and workflow extensions.
• Integrate Jira with external systems using Jira REST APIs.
• Utilize Forge storage, resolvers, queues, and event-driven functions to support application logic.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored Jira solutions based on specific requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience developing Jira Cloud Forge applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, including UI Kit or Custom UI for Forge development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of the Jira framework, including work item types, screens, fields, workflows, permissions, and schemes.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and scalable API usage.
• Ability to work with Forge-specific components like storage and queues.
