Description

You will configure, secure, and automate Atlassian Jira environments for on-site teams in Chicago.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Jira Service Management and ProForma functionality.
• Develop complex automation rules and admin task automation scripts.
• Manage Jira security models, including groups, roles, and permission schemes.
• Extend Jira using ScriptRunner (Groovy) and Atlassian Plugin SDK.
• Negotiate and develop upstream/downstream data integrations with partner teams.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Jira Software/Server and Jira Service Management Data Center.
• Strong Groovy scripting and ScriptRunner expertise.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for UI customizations.
• Experience extending Jira via REST APIs and Java SDK.
• 8+ years total professional experience in software or IT operations.
• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Jira with downstream reporting solutions.
• Background in cybersecurity-related workflows.
