Description

You will own the configuration, customization, and technical maintenance of Jira instances to support organizational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Customize Jira instances, workflows, screens, fields, permission schemes, and issue types to align with business processes.
• Design and implement automation scripts, post functions, validators, and listeners.
• Integrate Jira with tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain Jira plugins and customizations to extend platform functionality.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide troubleshooting for complex Jira issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of Jira administration and configuration.
• Proficiency in Groovy, Jython, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to integrate Jira within an ecosystem including Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Jira plugins using Atlassian SDK.
• Atlassian certifications such as ACP-100 (Jira Administrator) or ACP-300 (Jira Project Administrator).
