Description

You will manage and extend the Jira ecosystem through custom development, system integration, and technical guidance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, and fields to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom Jira plugins and scripts using SIL Programming and Groovy.
• Implement Automation for Jira and integrate Jira with external tools using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and oversee quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Jira development and administration.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting and SIL Programming.
• Experience writing SQL queries in Postgres SQL to query Jira tables.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence REST APIs and webhooks.
• Technical experience with GitLab.
• Ability to troubleshoot Jira configurations and performance issues.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bitbucket and other Atlassian tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
