Description

You will design, build, and maintain solutions centered around the Jira ecosystem, taking deep technical ownership of the platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Jira solutions, including workflows, dashboards, and plugins.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate Jira with external applications, ensuring data integrity.
• Define and implement architecture strategies for Jira deployments in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Integrate Jira with third-party tools using custom and out-of-the-box solutions.
• Optimize Jira performance by analyzing bottlenecks and implementing efficiency improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Jira development and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Jira Software and Jira Service Management.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Jira plugins (e.g., ScriptRunner, JME).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based Jira solutions (e.g., Atlassian Cloud).
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
