You will design, build, and support ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading Jira data into target instances while archiving source data into Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ETL pipelines to ingest Jira data from APIs, databases, and structured files (CSV/JSON/XML).
• Transform and normalize Jira entities including issues, users, workflows, and custom fields.
• Implement deduplication logic to resolve duplicates across multiple Jira repositories.
• Archive source repository data into Snowflake for long-term reporting and audit needs.
• Troubleshoot data load failures, schema mismatches, and data quality exceptions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data profiling and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data storage and archival.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
• Deep understanding of Jira data structures, APIs, and exports.
• Expertise in data normalization, deduplication, and survivorship logic.
• Ability to handle semi-structured data formats and large data volumes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira Cloud, Data Center, or Service Management migrations.
• Familiarity with Atlassian REST APIs and Python libraries like pandas or PySpark.
