Description

You will provide L3 production support for job scheduling and data caching infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot data caching systems and batch scheduling processes.
• Develop scripts and automation for orchestration and system tasks.
• Monitor system health using observability tools and respond to alerts.
• Own incident resolution and apply SRE principles to reduce toil.
• Write technical documentation and present findings to internal teams and management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of infrastructure production support experience.
• Linux System Administration, specifically Red Hat.
• Hands-on experience with data caching tools like Gemfire or Redis.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools, specifically AutoSys.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python or Perl.
• Experience with orchestration using Ansible or GitOps.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Understanding of DevOps, Agile, and SRE concepts including SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Experience working in regulated environments, such as finance IT.
