Description

You will develop and maintain Android applications using modern architectural patterns and best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build UI layers using Fragments, Activities, and lifecycle components while adhering to design principles.
• Implement network and image layers using Retrofit, Glide, and OkHttp to consume RESTful APIs.
• Develop modular code with clear separation of concerns using MVVM, LiveData, and Data Binding.
• Manage background tasks and local data storage using Work Manager, Services, SQLite, or Realm.
• Write unit tests and ensure code security through encryption and ProGuard obfuscation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and handling various Android versions and screen sizes.
• Proficiency with MVVM architecture and Android architecture components.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, and OkHttp.
• Hands-on experience with local storage including SQLite, Realm, and SharedPreferences.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Ability to write unit tests.
• Familiarity with Firebase, cloud messaging, and push notifications.
• Experience with Git and working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with VPN usage and open source library integration.
