Description

Maintain and secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure services to support mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain services including MS System Center (SCOM), SCCM, Windows AD, DNS, Federation Services, Exchange, and MS SQL.
• Design and implement infrastructure provisioning automation using IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor infrastructure resource usage, compute, storage capacity, and IaaS/PaaS uptime.
• Respond to escalated technical issues and provide 24/7 on-call support for Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents.
• Document architectural designs, network configurations, storage layouts, and recovery plans following industry standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database maintenance.
• Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud provider services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automation tools.
• Ability to implement secure infrastructure using STIGs and vendor recommendations.
• Experience maintaining highly available and secure hybrid environments.
• Capability to support IaaS Architects with project planning and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware (VMW).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes hosting platforms.
