Description

You will develop and support microservices using Java and Spring Boot in a remote capacity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and troubleshoot microservices using Java and Spring Boot 3.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs following established best practices.
• Deploy applications in Kubernetes environments alongside the DevOps team.
• Use observability tools for application monitoring, logging, and debugging.
• Document and expose APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful web services.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, or ELK.
• Basic knowledge of event-driven systems and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Understanding of API Gateways and OAuth concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
