Description

You will own the development of web apps, APIs, and backend services using AI-augmented workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate web applications, APIs, and backend services using AI-powered coding tools.
• Engineer prompts and manage tokens to optimize AI assistant output for coding tasks.
• Debug, test, and refine AI-generated code to ensure reliability and usability.
• Rapidly prototype new features and MVPs based on team and customer feedback.
• Document development processes and share learnings with product, design, and engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of prior experience in software development or web projects.
• Basic coding proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) in real projects.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Angular, React, Flask, or Express.
• Experience with REST APIs and NoSQL database integrations.
• Ability to debug, test, and iterate on code independently.
• Comfortable engineering prompts to guide AI coding output.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Django.
• Previous hackathon, bootcamp, or indie project experience.
