Description

You will own end-to-end testing for custom applications and GIS components, ensuring quality from test planning through UAT validation. You operate within Agile frameworks to support continuous delivery while collaborating directly with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from the perspective of business end users.
• Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to confirm application readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist subject matter experts in developing UAT test scenarios and prepare sample data for testing.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and demos, reporting weekly status to the QA Testing Lead.
• Notify management of bottlenecks, risks, and issues to ensure software testing remains on schedule.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience testing custom applications in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in documenting test cases, writing manual test scripts, and analyzing system specifications (SRS, BRD, design docs).
• Experience with GitHub for version control and ServiceNow for defect management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform thorough troubleshooting and issue isolation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CAST, CSTE, CSQA, or CMSQ.
• Experience with public sector projects.
