Description

You will own testing for custom applications and GIS components, ensuring quality from business user perspectives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, execute tests, and report anomalies.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to understand requirements.
• Assist SMEs and analysts in developing UAT test scenarios and test cases.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and demos, reporting weekly status to the QA Lead.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and issues to ensure on-time software testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing in software development projects.
• Experience with mid-scale or large-scale system development.
• Proficiency in manual and/or automated testing.
• Strong skills in System, regression, security, and performance/load testing.
• Experience creating Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and UAT instructions.
• Familiarity with GitHub and ServiceNow.
• Ability to review system specifications and analyze test results.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar.
• Experience with public sector projects.
• Certifications such as CAST, CSTE, CSQA, or CMSQ.
