Description

You will perform quality assurance testing on custom and GIS components for software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from an end-user perspective.
• Operate within an Agile approach to support testing needs and participate in defect triage meetings.
• Work with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to understand and validate business requirements.
• Assist subject matter experts in developing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and facilitate UAT activities.
• Report weekly status updates to the Quality Assurance Testing Lead.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in software development testing projects.
• Experience testing custom and GIS components.
• Ability to review and analyze system specifications (e.g., Business Requirements, Design Documents).
• Proficiency in manual and/or automated testing, including regression and functional testing.
• Experience documenting Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using defect management tools and working with ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and issue isolation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile device testing.
• Experience in public sector environments.
