Description

You will own the quality assurance lifecycle for web applications and APIs, focusing on automation and rigorous testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for RESTful and SOAP API endpoints using Rest Assured and JDBC.
• Validate application behavior across multiple browsers and devices, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues to optimize test script efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to define testing requirements and establish QA best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming for designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, including Page Object Model (POM) design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
• Experience with API testing frameworks such as Rest Assured, Postman, or SOAPUI.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL querying, and JDBC for database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications).
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical initiatives.
