Description

Owns the quality assurance lifecycle for custom applications and GIS components, ensuring timely delivery through rigorous manual and automated testing within an Agile framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, test cases, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) for system and UAT phases.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report anomalies via the lens of business end users.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to understand requirements and facilitate UAT activities.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, demos, and weekly status reporting to the QA Lead.
• Prepare sample data and verify application readiness for UAT and post-go-live validation.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing, including mid-scale or large-scale system development projects.
• Proficiency in System, regression, performance, load, and security testing.
• Experience with GitHub and ServiceNow for version control and defect management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to review system specifications (SRS, BRD) and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with test automation tools and writing manual test scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CAST, CSTE, CSQA, or CMSQ.
• Experience in public sector projects or mobile device testing.
