Description

You will support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install and rebuild servers, configuring hardware, peripherals, storage, and services to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain system security by installing patches on Red Hat Linux, Windows, and VMware environments and reporting on compliance.
• Monitor system health, verifying the integrity of hardware, server resources, and key processes through log reviews.
• Manage daily backup operations, file archival, and user account administration.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software failures, providing Tier III support and coordinating recovery efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2008/2k8R2/2k12).
• Experience managing VMware environments.
• Hands-on experience with Apache web services.
• Technical proficiency with Jira, Git, LDAP, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions.
• Experience with storage equipment configuration and vendor troubleshooting.
