Description

You will analyze, design, and implement information systems to solve business problems and drive organizational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain 24x7 Energy Management Systems (EMS) at two control centers, including state estimator, contingency analysis, and power flow updates.
• Monitor and maintain the reliability of EMS applications and power system modeling to support real-time operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EMS system issues, including database environments and various displays.
• Lead technical evaluations of contractor software proposals and configure custom EMS enhancements.
• Manage the testing and implementation of new EMS releases and provide user training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA or Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Intermediate Linux OS experience using command-line interfaces.
• Ability to perform power flow, contingency analysis, and state estimator updates.
• Strong technical documentation skills for users with diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead meetings or presentations for management.
• Capacity to multitask and switch priorities based on business needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
