Description

You will support and optimize web application infrastructure and CDN configurations. Manage Akamai security features and Site Shield across domains. Build monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure system reliability. Optimize infrastructure for scale and performance. Provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements. Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible hours.

• Build dashboards and alerts using monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Optimize technical infrastructure for scale, reliability, and performance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for system reconfiguration and improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible hours as needed.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability, DevOps, or system infrastructure.
• 2+ years of real-world Akamai configuration experience managing various features.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and scripting.
• 2+ years of experience building or supporting web applications.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Strong scripting and coding ability across multiple languages.
• Experience with CDNs such as Fastly, Cloudflare, Imperva, or CloudFront.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting metrics and system impact.
• Ability to present complex technical information to developers and senior leaders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and internet security.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Background in performance tuning and web-based architecture design.
