Description

Support and optimize web application infrastructure and CDN configurations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Akamai security features and Site Shield across multiple domains.
• Build monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Optimize technical infrastructure for scale and reliability.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for system reconfiguration and improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible hours as needed.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability, DevOps, or system infrastructure.
• 2+ years of real-world Akamai configuration experience managing various features.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and scripting.
• 2+ years of experience building or supporting web applications.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Strong scripting and coding ability across multiple languages.
• Experience with CDNs such as Fastly, Cloudflare, Imperva, or CloudFront.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and internet security.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Background in performance tuning and web-based architecture design.
