Description

You will develop, debug, and maintain Android applications, owning assigned features from development through to delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot Android applications to identify and fix performance or stability issues.
• Create and manage APK builds for client integrations and verify implementations post-deployment.
• Collaborate with QA and team members to test features end-to-end.
• Research new technologies, libraries, or SDKs to improve development efforts.
• Own assigned tasks and features from development through to delivery.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI components, and the activity lifecycle.
• Experience with Android Studio and the process of building and signing APKs.
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns including MVC and MVVM.
• Strong debugging skills using tools like Logcat.
• Experience with libraries such as Retrofit and Room.
• Ability to use open-source libraries and AI-powered development tools to assist in coding.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Android development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
