Description

You will support data-pipeline development and migration from Legacy Data Warehouse to Azure Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and validation across SQL Server 2022, Azure SQL MI, and Synapse.
• Develop and debug Python scripts for automation, file ingestion, and data-quality checks.
• Build Fabric dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouse tables aligned with enterprise data-modeling standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on ETL design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and maintain technical documentation in Confluence/Git.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience with SQL (T-SQL preferred) and Python scripting.
• Strong experience with Azure services including Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric components.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data-quality principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of Power BI and basic DAX concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Databricks, Fabric Lakehouse).
