Junior Data Engineer

Build and support applications within Palantir Foundry using TypeScript and Python, focusing on data pipeline development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver backend logic, data transformation workflows, and CI release activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend logic within Palantir Foundry.
• Implement data transformation workflows and support CI/CD release processes.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex concepts and requirements.
• Resolve engineering issues through strong problem-solving and clear communication.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting applications on Palantir Foundry.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the insurance domain, particularly with underwriting applications.
• Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, or building related platforms.
