Description

You will build and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for high-scale distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build or support high-scale, distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Ship high-quality code to production environments.
• Debug and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Implement data processing using big data frameworks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Strong SQL expertise, including deep query optimization.
• Experience with Hive, Presto/Trino, or Spark.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern big data processing framework.
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, EMR).
• Experience building or supporting distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with feature stores such as Chronon.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants.
