You will support data engineering operations and system maintenance in a parallel processing environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing systems through ongoing research, problem resolution, and on-call support.
• Perform data warehousing tasks using Ab Initio and parallel processing techniques.
• Apply established methodologies and tools to software development and system maintenance.
• Analyze system and application program development alternatives to support business functions.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Data Warehousing in parallel processing environments.
• Experience using the GCP BQ Console.
• Solid analytical and software development skills.
• Strong communication skills for working in matrixed environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM DB2 and TIDAL.
• Unix Shell scripting skills.
