Description

Design, develop, and manage data pipelines and reporting solutions using DataStage, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and dbt.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage databases, data models, and SQL Server solutions to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Build and maintain statistical models to generate insights from historical business data and performance trends.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ad-hoc reports, standard reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using BI tools like Tableau or SAS.
• Organize meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, define problem statements, and communicate key findings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT and Data Warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in DataStage for data integration tasks.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and optimization.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing.
• Practical knowledge of dbt for data transformation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Experience creating visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, SAS, Cognos, or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for professional reporting and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
