Description

You will support database operations, security, and maintenance under the IT lead's supervision.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test databases and programs to identify, correct, and implement modifications for errors.
• Modify existing database management systems and coordinate changes with programmers and analysts.
• Implement security measures to protect information from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.
• Collaborate with project teams to define database development scope and limitations.
• Code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for management systems.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in database administration roles.
• Proficiency with Database Management System Software.
• Experience using Archival Software.
• Experience with Metadata Management Software.
• Knowledge of Object or Component Oriented Development Software.
• Familiarity with Operating System Software.
• Ability to travel to various client sites across the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification in a related field.
