You will support database operations and security under the supervision of the IT lead.

Responsibilities

• Test databases and programs to identify errors and implement necessary modifications.
• Modify existing database management systems or coordinate changes with programmers and analysts.
• Implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, damage, or disclosure.
• Collaborate with project teams to define database development scope and limitations.
• Write logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for the management system.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with Database Management System Software.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling.
• Experience with Metadata management.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Development (OOD).
• Familiarity with Backup or Archival Software.
• Ability to travel to various client sites across the USA.
