Description

You will support database operations, development, and security under the supervision of the IT Lead.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test databases and programs to identify and correct errors or implement modifications.
• Modify existing database management systems and coordinate changes with programmers and analysts.
• Implement security measures to protect information against unauthorized access, modification, or accidental damage.
• Collaborate with project teams to define database development scope and limitations.
• Write logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for the management system.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in database administration or related roles.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with Data Modeling and Database Design.
• Knowledge of Metadata management.
• Experience working within Unix environments.
• Ability to perform database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Backup or Archival Software and Database Management System Software.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel to various client sites across the USA.
