Description

You will support the Maintenance department with electrical engineering projects to improve production efficiency, output, and quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of electrical engineering projects, from concept development to equipment commissioning.
• Develop electrical control solutions and redesign PLC/HMI systems for process improvements.
• Analyze process issues using PI Vision and Data Link to assist with troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
• Lead multi-discipline problem-solving efforts with technical and production teams.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of Electrical Engineering experience, including co-ops or internships.
• 3+ years of experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, motors, and low/medium power distribution.
• Proficiency with Rockwell programming software, specifically RS Logix and FactoryView.
• Experience with laser distance measurement and Level II control systems.
• 3+ years of experience leading electrical projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
