Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on database design and optimization
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Contribute to frontend development as needed
• Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Ask clarifying questions and participate in solution design discussions
• Implement features within an AI-driven development workflow
• Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions

Qualifications

• Required
  • Approximately 2–3 years of professional development experience
  • Strong backend development experience with demonstrated database work
  • Proficiency in Python or Rust (experience with at least one is essential)
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • RESTful API development experience
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating AI tools or techniques into projects, with preference for production implementations
• Preferred
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
  • Microservices architecture experience
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience
  • Financial services industry background
