Description

You will implement data protection methods and manage Hadoop ecosystem components to support data analysis and secure confidential information.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing protocols to verify the accuracy of protected data.
• Coordinate delivery routines including kick-offs, status reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple technology teams to meet project timelines.
• Document technical processes and maintain evidence for Enterprise Change Management standards.
• Facilitate communication between organizations to ensure alignment with deliverable requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem including Hive, Sqoop, and MapReduce.
• Knowledge of Big Data and Metadata management.
• Understanding of data formats such as Avro, Parquet, or ORC.
• Familiarity with Spark.
• Proficiency in UNIX scripting.
• Experience with Autosys job creation.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills for financial reconciliation and data management.
• Ability to manage project updates, critical paths, and risk escalation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data protection tools and techniques.
