Description

You will manage and maintain Linux-based environments, focusing on RHEL and SUSE enterprise distributions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations using Disk or Ignite methods.
• Configure and administer Ignite Servers and NFS Servers.
• Manage patch deployment and system updates.
• Troubleshoot system crashes using kdump and SOS by analyzing core files and /var/adm/crash.
• Handle disk and network-based file-system administration including NFS, CIFS, and AutoFS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x and 7.x.
• Hands-on experience with SUSE Enterprise Linux 11.x and 12.x.
• Proficiency with Logical Volume Manager (LVM).
• Knowledge of RAID configurations (0, 1, 5, 0+1, 1+0).
• Experience managing swap space, including addition and deletion.
• Experience with Apache/httpd.
• Knowledge of AutoFS.
• Experience with Patch Management.
