Description

You will perform manual testing across various levels to ensure software quality and adherence to client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional testing, including acceptance, regression, smoke, and sanity tests, as well as basic non-functional testing for usability and security.
• Perform feature, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing throughout the software development process.
• Create and maintain test documentation such as test cases and checklists.
• Analyze test results, create bug reports, and track defects to closure.
• Monitor production environments and communicate with the development team to resolve issues.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, methods, and test design techniques.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (SELECT, UPDATE, JOINs) and at least one RDBMS.
• Experience with XML, JSON, and Web Services/REST.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman.
• Experience using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of network protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SMTP.
• Intermediate or fluent English language skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic Linux command line knowledge.
